Stanley Bennett started his career as a carpenter framing houses in the rugged Pacific Northwest. Diligently working his way through the ranks he became a prominent general contractor, building custom and luxury homes. During an economic lull, Stan joined the union, where he soon became a journeyman carpenter contributing to building local schools and courthouses. After sustaining a knee injury in the union Stan went to Bellingham Technical College where he earned a degree in welding. In 2008 Stan started a powder coating business right in time for the economic crash, but with a mind on frugality and savvy business practices he pulled through and for the next eleven years was successful in this industry. Towards the end of his powder coating career, Stan found a new calling in fabrication and transitioned his business into a manufacturing powerhouse. Now, Stan does a wide range of metal work in the marine, auto, and building industries– from repair welding to custom builds of gates, railings, bed frames, and more.
